Reminder of Avoiding the Cross-border Trip Before Completing Vaccination Procedures for COVID-19 Vaccine
2021/03/01

Recently, some Chinese and foreign passengers, who only received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and made the cross-border trip before completing vaccination procedures for COVID-19 vaccine, were tested the positive for IgM anti-body before boarding to China. As a result, their follow-up itinerary were affected.

The Chinese Embassy in Singapore would kindly remind that in view of the current situation of COVID-19 pandemic, passengers are kindly advised to follow the principle of "no travel for non-essential or non-urgent reasons" whether they have received the COVID-19 vaccination or not. For passengers who receive the COVID-19 vaccination, they must complete the vaccination procedures and obtain the vaccination certificates, to avoid being stranded overseas during making cross-border trip due to incomplete vaccination procedures.
