Most of foreign passports holders can go to Hong Kong for short visit without visa. For details, please visit Hong Kong immigration website at

 For those require visa to Hong Kong, the applicants can either apply visa directly to Hong Kong immigration or apply visa through Chinese Embassy in Singapore.

    Requirements are:

 1. One completely filled out visa application forrm.(click to download. Hong Kong Visa Application Form Download )

 2. One recently taken 2X2 inch photo showing entire face and without a hat on. Please affix the photo to the application form.

            3. Original passport with at least 2 blank visa pages and valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of application.

            4. Original and copy of the residence permit (e.g. PR, EP).

            5. Original invitation letter, proof of employment and company leave letter.

            6. Bank statements within 3 months.

            7. Round trip airline ticket and hotel reservation.

1. The visa application documents should be sent to Hong Kong Immigration for approval, therefore normally it takes approximately one month.
