| How to Apply for Authentication Documents issued in A. Procedures are as follows: a. Send documents issued in Singapore, such as Affidavite, Declaration, Power of Attorney, etc. to be notarized first by a local Notary Public and then to be authenticated by the Singapore Academy of Law. b. Send documents issued by c. Send the documents authenticated by Singapore Academy of Law or Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be authenticated by Chinese Embassy in B. Notice: a. One certificate contains one document only. One certificate contains several documents will not accepted for authentication. b. Documents issued in c. The Chinese Embassy authenticates only the officials' signature and the seal of Singapore Academy of Law or Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will not responsible for the contents of the documents. g. Documents authenticated by Singapore Academy of Law or Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chinese Embassy should be in its original shape. Applicants should not take apart the original documents (notarized or authenticated) or stitch some other pages to the original documents, and should bear all responsibility aroused. C. Requirements: a. One completely filled out application form. b. Original and copy of the document to be authenticated c. Original and copy of passport or IC of the applicant. If the application is submitted by agent, copy of the owner of the document, original and copy of passport or IC of the agent are required. C. Pickup and Fees: Applications can generally be picked up on the fourth working day from the date of submitting. Authentication fees are S$30 per civil document and S$60 per commercial and business document . Rush application can be picked up on the second working day and additional S$35 will be charged. |
