The 13th Meeting of China-Singapore Joint Committee on Science and Technology was held online on 7 December 2021. Prof. Zhang Guangjun, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China(MOST), and Prof. Low Teck Seng, Chief Executive Officer of National Research Foundation of Singapore(NRF) co-chaired the meeting and introduced respectively the science, technology and innovation(STI) policies of China and Singapore in the next five years, and announced the co-funded projects for 2021. MOST and NRF have reached consensus on supporting joint research projects, selecting China-Singapore flagship projects on STI, and enhancing future cooperation on STI Personnel Exchanges and Communication. 

The meeting was moderated by Mr. Dai Gang, Director General of Department of International Cooperation of MOST and attended by delegation members from both sides.

Since the mechanism of China-Singapore Joint Committee on Science and Technology was first established in 1993, both sides have achieved various kinds of cooperation on STI.
