On 27 May 2008, the Chinese Embassy in Singapore received S$ 350,000 of donation funds for the people in the earthquake-stricken areas in Sichuan, China. From 13 May till now, the Embassy has received S$ 10.15 million (about RMB 51.96 million), and about 31,000 person-times have come to the Embassy for donation.
